Hey everyone!
I haven't had a chance to do an update on my weight loss journey because I've been so busy this week. I'm up late tonight and can't fall asleep so I decided to do a quick update!!
I started my journey Nov. 6th, 2012 after I realized how bad I had let my self go. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how my double chin had now turned into a triple chin and my arms were almost as big as a sumo wrestler (Not cute at all.). The first week of joining the gym was HELL!!.
I thought about just giving up so many times that first week but then as I was about to walk out I saw my reflection on the mirror right by the exit and It was a huge wake up call for me that I could not give up. I started off slow with the Elliptical machine then I added zumba to my routine and eventually got brave enough and started using the weights. Dec .6, 2012 marks one month since I decided I no longer wanted to look like an umpa-lumpa. I DO NOT regret this decision in fact I am absolutely proud of my self. I am down 5 pounds and It may not sound like much to you but I feel so much better. I no longer feel tired and weak I actually have tons of energy to play with my son now. My ultimate weight loss goal is to lose 70 pounds but for now my short term goal is 20 pounds by march 2013. LET'S DO THIS!!
